Jim invites everyone to the concert. Music for children of all ages: "Peter and the Wolf" (Butch Engle, narrator), "A Disney Supertime," "Teddy Bear’s Picnic" "Toy Symphony," "Royal Fireworks," "William Tell Overture," "In the Hall of the Mountain King" PLUS "Seventy Six Trombones," "Fugue on Yankee Doodle," "Syncopated Clock" and more… The all volunteer Hometown Band, a Sonoma tradition since 1966, performs three concerts a year and participates in Salute to the Arts. The band does an about turn as "The Other Hometown Band" in the Sonoma Fourth of July parade, donning silly hats in a second hilarious appearance marching around the Sonoma Square.Sonoma Hometown Band concerts are free.
